Spencer Bowman is a freelance country, rock, and pop drummer based in Nanaimo, BC. Since picking up drumsticks at the age of ten, he has continued to develop his passion for the drum set. He holds a diploma in jazz studies, and his playing has been shaped through studies with Mike Johnston, Matt Halpern, and Benny Greb.

With a love of performance and showmanship, Spencer has shared the stage, studio, and road with many of BC’s most talented musicians, including the progressive metal band The Body Politic. He is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator, and an experienced clinician. Spencer currently teaches at several music schools in Nanaimo, BC.
