My mission as an instructor is always to inspire my students, as well as demystify the mechanics of drumming. Each student’s curriculum is completely personalized and aims to achieve their individual goals behind the drum kit. I focus on guiding beginners through the steps necessary to begin playing music as soon as possible. For drummers at the intermediate or advanced level, I discuss with the student both what they wish to achieve with their drumming, and what I wish to see them achieve. We agree on a plan and start taking steps toward their goals.
I teach at two facilities in Nanaimo, BC. Private lessons are either 30 or 60 minutes long, and take place once or twice per week.
